Wish I’d found this quote in time for Earth Day, but it still applies, doesn’t it? Thanks, Rob Fisk, for pointing me to it!
“A true conservationist is a man who knows that the world is not given by his fathers, but borrowed from his children.”
-John James Audubon
Isn’t it just this simple?
Today’s quote comes from Hungarian scientist Dennis Gabor. (No relation to Zsa Zsa or Eva that I know of.) He had a thing to say about poetry, too!
“Poetry is plucking at the heartstrings, and making music with them.”
You know artists. Always tinkering and tinkering and tinkering until it’s just exactly right. That’s what makes them aritsts! And that’s why the art we get to witness is so incredible. A big huge shout out to all the artists today!
“In art, the best is good enough.”
–JohannWolfgang von Goethe
